Emma Brown, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Emma Brown, PA-C is a physician assistant specializing in rheumatology at the Arthritis Center of North Georgia, seeing patients at the Gainesville location. A proud north Georgia native — born and raised in Dawsonville — Emma brings both clinical expertise and genuine community roots to her practice.

Emma earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) Georgia in Suwanee, graduating in 2024. She holds national certification as a PA-C and joined the ACNG team that same year.

In her rheumatology practice, Emma cares for patients across a broad spectrum of autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, lupus (SLE), Sjögren’s syndrome, scleroderma, gout, polymyalgia rheumatica, giant cell arteritis, vasculitis, inflammatory myositis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, and juvenile arthritis.

Emma’s approach to care is rooted in shared decision-making and holistic, patient-centered medicine. She believes that managing autoimmune disease is about far more than treating lab values or joint pain — it means walking alongside patients through the arc of their lives, building trust over time, and adjusting care as circumstances change. “These are chronic, life-altering conditions,” she says. “My goal is to be a consistent partner in that journey.”

Outside of the clinic, Emma is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with family. She is happy to be practicing close to where she grew up, serving the communities of north Georgia that she has always called home.
