Watkinsville and Gainesville, Ga. — Arthritis Center of North Georgia is pleased to welcome Brandon Lew, MD, to the practice. Dr. Lew is a rheumatologist and will begin seeing patients on September 8 at the practice’s Watkinsville and Gainesville locations.

Dr. Lew joins Arthritis Center of North Georgia following the completion of his rheumatology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, and completed his internal medicine residency at Prisma Health/University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Greenville, South Carolina.

He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and board eligible in rheumatology. His clinical interests include the care of patients with rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, Sjögren’s syndrome, scleroderma, vasculitis, gout, osteoporosis, and other autoimmune and inflammatory rheumatic diseases.

Dr. Lew brings a thoughtful, patient-first approach to the care of complex autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. He believes every patient deserves the time and space to discuss what matters most to them, understand their diagnosis and treatment options, and leave with a clear plan for next steps.

“I want every patient to leave their visit knowing their questions have been answered and that they have a clear understanding of the next steps,” Dr. Lew said.

Dr. Lew grew up in Orlando, Florida, and has spent much of his training and career in the Southeast, a region he has come to call home. Outside of medicine, he enjoys table tennis, traveling, and exploring local trails.
